Lets do Thursday right. The weather is pretty darn good today. The outside world fills your sences like no drug could ever do, I know I have taken enough of them, LOL. Yes I have taken enuf to know about additiction myself. From LSD to Cocaine. I have seen enuf too. There is a list of DEAD people in my life that is just hard to ignore. Believe it or not the biggest culprit has been Alcohol. Booze. It has taken my one of my Brothers, Nephew, Best Friend & more from this earth and has ruined so many peoples lives. Me? I have drank enuf to sink a ship but not no more. Even if I wanted too, I cant. It makes me sick. It may be my meds or the Diabetes but 1 is my limit. I really stopped drinking 5 years ago when I got sick and had the open heart surgery & Diabetic crash. I used to do a 6 pack+ a day. Now maybe a 6 pack a year. Unfortunetly, I have been watching another loved one use the bottle to kill themselves. My heart is broken, truly. I dont have to be a Doctor to see the obvious signs. I have written about it before and I have seen enuf to know, very very well. I can go to the Cemetary to validate what I know. Love makes us a prisoner sometimes & it is hard to ignore your good intentions and the pain these people put themselves through. When those good intentions start to hurt you and dont help the person with their pain, you have to try, I have to try and move on and hope that they can, Carry On… MM
