A great weekend of sorts. I has the best people around me to help me thru a difficult time. The main event was the Tribute Show for my recently deseased friend Max Volume aka Eric. I knew him for 50 years. Ajax Lepinski too. Along with Phil Degraves we knocked out of the park, just like the old days. The shows went perfect. I lost my beat for a few seconds because I was thinking of Max but quickly snapped out if it. There is not too much room for other other thoughts in this head of too few Marbles when I am on a Mission. The mission was to celebrate him and his music. Mission accomplished. It was fun to play the music again but emotional becauce Max was not there. It is still hard to grasp. So many old friends showed up to once again to here the music of my first band, The Chiselers & Corporate Waste. It was an Honor to have my band Strange But Surf back us up to recreate the Music. We learned songs and had fun doing it. It was a very emotional night for me and seeing everyone was great but difficult considering the circumstances. I want to thank everyone involved and their was alot, including Mr. Beery’s – so I cant really list them all here but I can offer a list of links to videos on Facebook.
